Santiago Ramos Completes Van Amersfoort Racing’s 2025 FIA Formula 3 Line-Up
Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) is proud to announce that Mexican talent Santiago Ramos will join its driver lineup for the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship. After a promising journey through various single-seater championships and a notable rookie year in FIA Formula 3, Santiago is prepared to take the next step in his motorsport career with the team.
Santiago, born in Guadalajara, Mexico, began his motorsport career in karting at the age of 11. Quickly progressing through the ranks, he transitioned to single-seater racing in 2019, competing in the Italian F4 Championship and later in the ADAC and Spanish F4 Championships. His hard work and determination earned him multiple points finishes and a podium at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
In 2022, Santiago stepped up to the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA), gaining valuable experience in one of the most competitive junior categories. His performances paved the way for his FIA Formula 3 debut in 2024, where he delivered impressive results, including a pole position at Imola and a podium finish in Monza. Following a successful rookie season, both Santiago and the team are eager to see what they can achieve together in 2025.

Santiago will prepare for the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season by joining VAR for pre-season testing in Barcelona from 19 to 21 February. The 2025 championship will feature 10 rounds at some of the most prestigious circuits in the world, including Monaco, Silverstone, Spa, and Monza. The season opener will take place at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne from 14 to 16 March. Each round will feature two races, promising action-packed competition.
