Alex Ruta joins Van Amersfoort Racing for Full 2025 Formula 4 Campaign
Van Amersfoort Racing is excited to welcome 16-year-old driver Aleksander Ruta to the team. Alex will be joining the team in the Italian Formula 4 Championship, the E4 Championship and the last round of the Formula Winter Series.
Aleksander Ruta, born on August 6, 2008, in Warsaw, Poland, started karting only three years ago. The Polish driver has quickly made a name for himself in karting through achieving solid results.
In his debut year of karting, he won his first karting race in the ROK Junior series at the 24th ADAC Kart Festival in Kerpen, Germany. In a karting race in the IAME Euro Series in Wackersdorf, he gained nine positions during the race and finished in P6. Alex also became the vice champion in the ROK CUP in Poland in 2024 after only three years of racing.
This year, Alex made his formula racing debut in the Formula Winter Series. He will join Van Amersfoort Racing this weekend for the last round of the Formula Winter Series and for the full Italian Formula 4 and E4 Championships.

Alex’s campaign for Van Amersfoort Racing will kick off with the last round of the Formula Winter Series at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, in Barcelona, Spain, from March 6 - March 9. The first race weekend of the Italian Formula 4 Championship will take place in Misano from May 2 - May 4. And lastly, the E4 Championship will start on July 20 at the Circuit Paul Ricard, France.
