Van Amersfoort Racing had a stellar weekend at Mugello Circuit, home to the opening round of the 2024 Euro 4 Championship.

Hiyu Yamakoshi started the weekend strong with a second-place finish in Race 1, demonstrating his pace and consistency. Gustav Jonsson also made his mark, securing third place and joining Yamakoshi on the podium. Alvise Rodella made significant progress, gaining seven positions from 24th to finish 17th.

Jonsson maintained his strong performance, earning another podium finish in third place. Lin Hodenius also had a solid race, moving up from 19th to 13th place.

In Race 3, the Van Amersfoort Racing drivers all faced tougher conditions. Despite starting further back, Yamakoshi managed to gain nine spots, finishing just shy of the points in 11th. Andrija Kostić crossed the line in 15th, while the other drivers faced unfortunate retirements.

Overall, Van Amersfoort Racing wrapped up the weekend with promising results in the championship standings. Yamakoshi currently sits in second place with 43 points, while Jonsson holds fourth place with 30 points after the first round. The other Van Amersfoort Racing drivers – Rodella, Hodenius, and Kostić – had mixed results this weekend but gained valuable experience. The team is eager to carry this knowledge forward as they prepare for the next round of the Euro 4 Championship at the Red Bull Ring.
