Rafael Villagómez, born in León, Mexico, is a promising young talent in the world of motorsport. From a young age, Rafael showed a keen interest in racing, starting his career in karting at just 9 years old. In 2019, his final year in karting, he won the prestigious Richard Mille Young Talent Academy competition.
This success provided a solid foundation for his transition to formula racing, debuting in the British Formula 4 Championship in 2020. With his dedication and competence, Rafael quickly advanced to FIA Formula 3 in 2021, and after three seasons, he has now stepped up to FIA Formula 2.
