Team Manager - F4

Van Amersfoort Racing is looking for an experienced, proactive Team Manager to lead our FIA Formula 4 team!

Job Description

As the F4 Team Manager at Van Amersfoort Racing, you will oversee all aspects of our F4 race team operations. Your role will involve leading day-to-day management, coordinating across departments, and ensuring a smooth and high-performing team environment. You’ll play a critical part in guiding young drivers in their development, ensuring team efficiency, and maintaining a focus on safety and performance. Based in Zeewolde, but this role includes travel to various race events.

Main Responsibilities

Manage daily operations for the F4 team, ensuring that all departments are aligned and effective.
Inspire and lead team members, fostering a positive culture focused on development, teamwork, and performance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for communication within the team and with drivers, their families, and management.
Coordinate with engineering, logistics/travel, marketing, and finance departments to support all team functions.
Provide essential support to young drivers, handling logistics, media interactions, and any issues that may arise.
Monitor and manage the F4 team budget, collaborating with finance to achieve financial objectives.
Oversee logistical planning and organization for F4 races and test events, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
Report on team performance, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with Formula 4 regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technical and operational standards.
Maintain strict safety standards and implement emergency protocols to safeguard the team’s well-being.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners and championship stakeholders, collaborating closely with marketing to fulfill sponsorship requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in team management within a motorsport environment, preferably with a focus on driver development.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial.
Knowledge of F4 regulations and motorsport standards, along with a commitment to safety and excellence.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Willingness to relocate to or reside in the Netherlands and be available full-time, including weekends and international travel.
